  “I’m bathing you, my Captain.”

  “Oh, well, I like that.”

Jinn cupped her palms, bringing some of the cool liquid up to his heated rod. When it touched his balls, he tensed, his muscles reacting to her ministrations. Tab growled then picked her up, carrying her into the deeper part of the water where they could sit. His lips captured hers, taking her breath away. The air was fresh with the scent of flowers as orchids bloomed all around them on the branches of the trees. Water trickled by over the rocks, leaving a cool trail behind. The flat rock that Tab sat on was warmed by the sun.

Fingers digging into his short hair, Jinn returned every movement, her tongue thrusting deep within the recesses of his mouth until he thought he’d die from the pleasure. When Tab’s fingers grazed over her mound, her hips shot forward, dancing to his tune. Her groan proved she was aching with needing.

“Make love to me, Tab. I can’t wait any longer,” she murmured, breathing heavily.

“Not yet. I want this to be special between us.”

“It is. It truly is.” Her hands roved over his hard muscles, groaning as he tensed. “You are the most incredible man I’ve ever met. There isn’t anything about you I don’t like.”

“That’s good, because I think you are my match in every way as well. You’re perfect for me.”

As she kissed him, her desire built so fast it shocked her. “Tab.”

The river swirled over their bodies, but she never felt the temperature because her skin was hot against his. When he inserted a finger into her pussy, she cried out, clinging to him as she ground her hips for more.

  “Please.”

Another finger and she went wild. She reached down and grasped his cock to find it hot and throbbing.

“You can’t tell me you’re not ready for it, big boy. Give him to me.”

She’d never been so wanton and turned on by a man as she did by Tab. He was the flame to her tinder, and she couldn’t wait another moment. Taking the situation in hand, she avoided his lips as they sought to stall her and mounted him, pressing down until he filled her. The ride began, and he couldn’t stop her.

Together they moved, Jinn ignoring the rocks on her knees as she focused on him, only him. The sensations rolling through her body were powerful as though filled with energy and bliss rolled into one. Tab continued to kiss her and she welcomed his mouth, tongue, every part of him. When it came, the climax was so blinding, she lost herself in it and closed her eyes to ride it out. His heat filled her glove as he too found release.

Tab held her close when she collapsed against him.

  “Mmmm...that was nice.”

  He pulled back slightly. “Nice?”

  “Mmm hmmm.”

“I’ll have you know, soldier, that it was more than nice. I don’t know if I can stand long enough to get us out of this water. You slayed me.” His warm chuckle made he smile against his chest.

“You’d better, or we’ll turn into prunes.”

“At least we’ll be clean prunes. Let’s go.”

“Tab, you’re such a party pooper.”

“I may be that, but we have a job to do.”

“Ah, crap. Here comes reality. I know, I know, I’m going.”

Jinn stood and began walking back to shore, squealing when his hand swatted her wet ass cheek. A giggle escaped.

“You brat! Turnabout is fair play, you know.”

“It will be when this is over. Get dressed honey.”

“Oh, I like it when you call me that. Anyone else would have gotten a fist in his nose, but from you it sounds sexy.”

Tab rolled his eyes. “You’re making this more difficult than it has to be.”

“Let me wash your tank top. The humidity will dry it fast enough and keep us cool for a while.”

“You just want to keep me naked longer.” Tab pulled her close and kissed her breasts, one at a time.

“Now, there’s a plan.” Jinn ran her fingertips over his chest, reveling at his hard muscles.

“Get dressed. We head out in five minutes.”

Jinn agreed that the team needed them and time was flying. She nodded and dressed a little slower than normal since she was reluctant to do so. She watched as he zipped his pants up, and sighed.

“We’ll have lots of time later.”

“I hope so,” she said, not so sure. In no time they were racing along side-by-side down the dirt road, satiated, yet prepared for the fight to come.

  Chapter Eleven: Little Sisters

As Blackstone watched Tara order two of her men around, he fought back a grin. She was a feisty young thing and definitely had shades of her brother’s strength of command. The men didn’t argue with her but jumped to obey.

Hidden behind a thick grove of trees, he was able to take note of the number of adversaries they’d have to deal with once Tab showed up. Though he didn’t move a muscle, Tara turned and looked right at him. There was no way she could see him through the brush, especially with his black skin and camouflage makeup on, but he was sure she knew he was there.

Instead of confronting him, she moved off into the forest, out of sight. Tab needed to know she was safe, yet since it wasn’t an emergency, Blackstone was hesitant to contact him. The team was scattered around the encampment. Chan and Jennings had caught up with them and were high up in the trees to keep watch, while Murphy and Flame were sabotaging the trucks to keep the enemy from escaping.

It was beginning to get dark. Blackstone wondered how long they’d have to wait for the Captain. An unexpected noise to his right had him turning on his heel to find a rifle aimed directly at him, but what surprised him more than the fact that someone could sneak up on him was that it was Tara.

“Not one move or you’re dead.”

“Tara, I’ve come to get you to safety.” His voice low, he tried to keep her calm.

“That’s not my name. Who are you?”

  “My name is Rafe.”

“Come with me slowly or I’ll shoot. I’m not afraid to use this.”

Her wary stare proved that she feared him, his tall stature intimidating her. Even her hands shook slightly, but he had no interest in making her afraid. If anything, he wanted her to trust him.

“Tara, don’t you want to go home. Your brother is searching for you.”

“I told you, my name isn’t Tara, and I don’t have a brother, now move it.”

Blackstone moved his fingers in a few signs for his teammates then edged closer to Tara. There was obviously something wrong with her if she didn’t know her own name. He’d have to do it the hard way.

“Darlin’, I’m only here to help you.”

Nearer and nearer he stepped until he was arm’s length away. She stared up at him, her eyes wide with a mixture of fear and fury. It was obvious that she didn’t like being afraid of him.

  “Don’t call me that.”

“What would you like me to call you?”

  “My name is…it’s Niña.”

“That means little girl. You aren’t so little, darlin’.” He could see that talking to her was the best way to put her off guard, even as he took another step toward her.

“I told you to put your hands up!” she cried, lowering the gun to his heart level.

She obviously wasn’t going to let him talk her out of it so Blackstone disarmed her and took her to the ground in one swift move. Tara fought hard, biting his palm as he covered her mouth to keep her quiet.

Captain, I’ve got her but she’s a wildcat!

Don’t harm her. I’m nearly there.

In order to keep her silent, he lay full length on her and kept his hand over her mouth, ignoring the pain of her bite while her hands were held above her head. Her eyes were wild with terror and hatred as she fought him to no avail. He had to admire her determination to beat him, but eventually she ran out of energy and lay still, her breathing erratic as her chest heaved.

  Incoming!

The sound of a bird brought Blackstone to a
halt as he sensed others moving in close to his position. Every muscle in his body tensed as two sets of boots became visible within inches of his head, but he held on, keeping her quiet. He didn’t want to knock her out but would if he had to.

  “Niña?” One man called.

Another voice followed, “Where is she?”

“You don’t suppose she broke free of the brainwash, do you?”

“That isn’t possible. Solange is a master at what she does.”

Solange? What have they done to her?

“We’re heading out in ten minutes. Iceman will be furious if she gets away. Find her.”

The voices faded as they searched the area.

Blackstone stared down at her and saw resentment and anger now in her eyes.

“Darlin’, we’ve got some work to do on you. It looks like you’ve been treated poorly. I’ll take care of you, I promise.”

Her gaze hardened and she bucked, nearly knocking his hand free of her mouth. A small sound escaped, but it was enough to bring the two searchers running. By the time Blackstone had her incapacitated again, they were beating the bushes.

I could use a little help down here!

A few seconds later, the two men were gone and all was quiet. Jennings and Murphy knelt on the ground beside them and stared down at Tara. Her eyes widened once again, full of apprehension.

“Tara, don’t be afraid. Jennings and Murphy are friends. They won’t hurt you.”

He wanted to release her but knew by her expression that she’d give them away.

“Tie her hands. We’d best get her out of here fast.”

Like a racehorse from a gate, Tara released fire and fury, struggling to break free, but together Jennings and Murphy helped Blackstone secure and gag her. Blackstone threw her over his shoulder and began moving away from the camp.

Don’t hurt the little boy, but it’s cleanup time, Blackstone commanded the team.

The rest of the group disappeared and left him with Tara at a safe distance. He carried her until he was satisfied they were far enough from her men then placed her on the ground gently at the base of a tree. With her hands and feet tied, she was helpless to escape. Blackstone wanted to go help the team, but his duty was to stay with Tara until they got back.

“Sorry, darlin’, but it’s going to be just you and me for a while. You might as well relax until your brother gets here. You’re safe now.”

“Mmm...mmm...mmmmph!” she screamed through the gag.

  “I don’t know what you’re saying, but I’ll bet it isn’t a compliment.”

Tab entered the grove with Jinn and stared down at his little sister with trepidation.

  “Is she hurt?”

“No, sir. If anything, she’s ready to kill.”

Tab knelt down and peered at her as though to gauge any wounds then removed the gag. The second he did, she screamed bloody murder. Since sound traveled far in the forest, he knew that the enemy was sure to have heard.

Replacing the gag, Tab hissed, “Get her to safety, Blackstone, and don’t stop or look back. We’ll meet up with you in a few days north of here at the coordinates I’ll send you. Hurry.”

Gun shots sounded in the distance as the enemy began their search. Blackstone picked her up and placed her over his shoulder then took off. Time to run.

  ***

From the expression of pain on Tab’s face, he was hurt by his sister’s betrayal, yet he focused on the team. Jinn helped him take down two of the enemy on the outskirts of the camp. It was imperative they get it done as fast and quietly as possible. They didn’t want to get Burgess or the boy killed either, so stealth was needed.

At Tab’s silent hand signals, Jinn followed orders for once and moved to a strategic place where she could take out some of the enemy with little danger. She also used her psychic gift to confuse the men until they literally walked in circles.

You don’t know where you’re going. Turn back. Turn around. Walk over to the tree on your left. Spin around.

“What the hell are you doing?” another Mexican asked, confusion on his brow.

“I’m looking for the gringos.” Though the man seemed sure he was doing a good job, he appeared totally lost.

Jinn fought back a grin. Shoot at your friend’s foot.

The gun went off, scaring the daylights out of the second man. “Hey! You fool. You could have killed me. Watch where you’re aiming.”

It was all Jinn could do to keep back her laughter as she watched from deep in the bushes. Neither man could see her.

  It’s your turn. Hit him.

Sure enough, the second man pulled back his fist then let his compadre have it. The larger man hit the ground and remained in there, still and quiet.

“What the hell is going on?” His eyes were filled with surprise as he stared down at his friend.

Time to finish this. You will tie up your friend then sleep for two hours.

A few moments later, job done, the man lay down and did as she’d bid him. Jinn moved on to find others.

  “You are one dangerous woman.”

Startled, she spun to find Tab watching her. At his feet lay two more tied up soldiers. Offering a simple shrug, she didn’t say a word.

“Let’s get the rest of them and save Burgess and the boy.”

Together, they walked through the forest, cautious of disturbing any branches or bush in case an enemy was watching. It took some time before they came across a small encampment with three tents. Inside one of them Jinn hoped they’d find their quarry. If Burgess was still alive, she had to be nearby.

  ***

“Kill her now and be done with it.” The sultry, dark-haired beauty stood over Burgess with a knife in her hand, her eyes full of bloodlust. Jinn watched from the small slit in the tent as the woman spoke. “She’s useless to us.” Long black hair fell to her waist. She wore an old style Mexican blouse and a colorful skirt that gave her the look of a gypsy.

The next voice came from someone out of the line of vision. “Solange, my pet, we need to use her to capture the others on her team. I have my orders.”

“Benito, you’ve already had your fun with her. Finish the job. You can always capture another one.”

“She’s the best fighter I’ve seen yet. Did you see the way she killed that other gringa? It was precious. And besides, the boy likes her. If it keeps him in line, then she’s useful to us.”

“I say she’s a liability we can’t afford. She’s dangerous. When she got free the third time, I nearly got shot. If not for the quick work of Luis, I’d be dead now. She’s a bad influence on the girl. If this keeps up, Niña might remember where she came from and then what will we do?”

The man laughed. “Don’t worry about the chica. She’s got a weak mind and is easy enough to control. Another night in ‘the box’ and she’ll be completely ours. When we send her back to North America, she’ll destroy the government and open the market for our drugs.”

“What if the gringos get to her first? We could lose billions of pesos.”

“That won’t happen. I have her trained to resist them. She hates them all.”

“Benito, I demand that you kill this one now.”

“Solange, please listen to reason, not your jealousy.”

Frustration on her face, the woman threw down the blade and stalked out of the tent. Burgess lay on her side, hands tied behind her back watching the man with venom in her gaze.

“Pretty chica. You and I have some time together. Let’s spend it wisely.”

Jinn watched as he came into her line of view and bent over Burgess. She was not a woman who liked men touching her unless it was her own idea and could only imagine how the soldier rebelled from it.

You will leave the woman alone and go find Solange.

Instead of doing as bid, the man stood and looked around him, his expression calculating. Oh, crap, he knows I tried to manipulate him.

  “Juarez, Bandaraz, come here!”

  The two soldiers
rushed into the tent. Jinn backed away fast to hide in the bushes. The only word she could say fast to warn Tab and the group was run!

  ***

From a distance, Tab watched Jinn as she fought the two soldiers who’d come for her. He and his team were hidden well enough, but since the Iceman was searching for Jinn, she’d given herself up.

  I’ll kill her!

He knew only too well how harsh the enemy was with their captives, hoping Iceman would choose to keep her alive. Jinn got in a few good punches before they took her down and held her at gunpoint.

“Bring her here.” Iceman stood beside the tent. “Send your men out to find her friends.”

“I don’t have any friends. Thanks to you, they all think I’m a traitor and kicked me out of the group.”

“Funny, I thought you were dead. I’ll have to make sure my men are more thorough the next time we have a game. We should have buried you alive.”

“I followed you because I want a rematch!”

That surprised the man. The corner of his mouth lifted.

“I believe that can be arranged, before I make sure you are dead.”

Jinn spit at his feet. “That just goes to show what kind of creep you are. You pick on defenseless women and children and leave the real soldiers alone.”

When Iceman nodded at one of her captors, he tied her wrists together in front of her. Though Tab wanted nothing more than to step forward and kill the bastard, he had the team to think about. Blackstone was with Tara, so at least she was taken care of, but they were shy of teammates and had to be cautious.

Chan moved in close and whispered in Tab’s ear. “The boy is in the next tent. He’s okay.”

Tab nodded then gave hand signals that were passed to Jennings and Murphy.

As he watched them drag Jinn away, he realized that there was little time left. Damn! We’ll have to work fast.

  ***

Burgess struggled against her bonds but wasn’t able to get free. She still wore the black silk dress, though it had seen better days.

While Jinn lay still, watching, she waited for her chance to escape and take Iceman down. She was almost free of the bindings.

Iceman turned to face Jinn and laughed. “The senorita wants to play. It’s time to set up our game again. This time we’ll make sure the loser is dead.”
